Looking for an exciting way to keep your children entertained over the school holidays? Let them enjoy a wide range of fun activities at a YMCA Holiday Program.
With a variety of exciting incursions and activities, the kids are sure to have a fun, action packed day. Our program is open to children aged 5-12 who are currently enrolled in school. YMCA’s school holiday programs are jam-packed with activities designed to stimulate inquisitive minds, get kids physically active and discover new interests with friends and energetic facilitators.
Our experience working with children means that we understand their individual needs - we know it’s not a one size fits all approach! That’s why we have a range of programs to help improve your child’s physical and mental wellbeing. They will also have lots of fun with us!

For each child you wish to enrol in our child care service, you need to:
- Register with My Family Lounge
- Click here to access My Family Lounge
Bookings open three weeks before the program.
- Sign into the My Family Lounge Website
- Select the service you wish to enrol your child in
- Complete enrolment form, upload immunisation history statement, upload any relevant medical action plans
- Select which day or days you want to enrol in
- Create Booking
Bookings close the Wednesday before the School Holiday Program commences.
Two weeks prior to the last day of term.
Credit to the value of the cancelled days will be placed on the family’s account, less a 20% administration fee.
If less than two weeks written notice is given, a family will only be offered a credit, less a 20% administration fee if the child’s place can be filled by an alternate family.
Fees and payments
Cost: $76.00 full day (No half days available)
Any late booking (after the enrolment closing date) will incur a $10 late administration fee, per child, per day. This fee will be charged per family and does not include bookings for any optional activities.
Late pick-up (after 6pm) will incur a fee of $2 per minute.
Account payments are processed by direct debit fortnightly, unless you make alternate arrangements. Direct debit information must be collected as part of enrolment process.
You will be contacted within 5 working days in regards to payment. We request all amounts owing be paid before commencement of the program.
Child Care Subsidy
This program qualifies for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) offered by the Federal Government.
The CCS is calculated by a number of factors including: activity level, combined family income, service type and hourly rates.

Monday - Friday: 7.30am – 6.00pm
Lunch orders for our School Holiday Program are made through an online system called School Lunches Online.During the registration process, select YMCA Ashburton as your “School” to connect with us.
Order deadlineOrders must be placed by 4:00pm the day prior to when its required.
Processing feeA 0.25c processing fee per transaction. When completed in bulk, a transaction can include orders for multiple days and children.
NoteLunch orders can no longer be placed at the APARC Café or reception.
